The very first VW that Mike Case owned was a Hotwheel, and his passion, along with his cars, grew from there.
He has become a fixture in the Volkswagen community thanks to his handcrafted sculptures of cars
and their owners, but it doesn't stop there.
His whimsical renderings of cars, motorcycles, planes, boats, families, and pets bring joy and memories alike
to collectors all over the world.

As many of you know, Mike has been struggling with neurocognitive symptoms from hydrocephalus, and has also been diagnosed with Graves' disease. Having a chronic illness and now an autoimmune disease as well has been a double whammy. The effect of both on his vision has been life-altering, and is permanent.
For this reason, Mike is no longer able to create art.
It is beyond heartbreaking to share this news, as you know that bringing smiles to people's faces with his creations has been what Mike lives for. To say we are devastated is a gross understatement for what we are trying to process right now. We thank everyone who has shared kind words and memories with us about what Mike's work has meant to you.
